Raavanan and VTV to be screened in CannesThe next big buzz in our movie industry is the upcoming movie by Mani Ratnam. Raavanan - starring Abishek, Aishwarya, Vikram and others. Music by none other than Academy award winner A R Rahman. It is a trilingual movie release as Raavan in Hindi and as Raavanan in Tamil and Telegu. It was expected that there will be a big audio launch for this movie but so far it has been very quite and the Audio is already available in the internet. Before this movie hits the theatres, it is said to be released in the Cannes film festiival along with Gautham Menon's Vinnaithandi Vaaruvaya. Even though rumors mills have gone crazy on the stroyline of this movie that it is a modern depiction of Ramayanam, the cast and crew is tightlipped about it. Sources from the rumor mill has also said Aishwarya plays the role of the classical dance teacher in this movie. Mani Ratnam - A R Rahman combo has always produced super duper hit songs. Lets hope they repeat it again.

Kaavalkaran - Vijay seems to be in full throttle, yes even before Vettaikaran was out of the theatres, Sura is released and now it is said that shooting for his next movie Kaavalkaran is in full swing and expect to be completed in mid July which looks like a Malaylam hit movie remake. Also Jeyam Raja is waiting with a script for the next movie. So it looks like a busy time for Vijay and his fans will be very happy but at the same time Vijay has to do lot of homework to make sure he performs different roles that satisfies his fans. Not the stale roles that he has been doing in the past few movies.
