There are actors who mature on selecting different roles as they move forward and there are few actors like Vijay who are still living in a world of immaturity and keep making the same kind of half baked movie again and again. Even the hard core Vijay fans might find it diffcult to digest this repeated nonsense. Mass and repeated marketing wont make a horrible movie a box office hit, so Sun Pictures must stop relying on just marketing and start selecting good movies.

It a same old storyline that you have seen in several Vijay movies. Vijay is a good hearted young man (Sura) living in a fishery village Yaazh nagar. As usual he does good things for the villagers and he is the "go to" guy for the entire village. One day he rescues Tamannah from committing suicide because her pet dog goes missing. who in the right mind would try to commit suicide for a missing pet dog.. what the director thinking when he came up this situation!!!. As usual, love at first sight, followed by a duet.





In the meantime, a local minister tries to vacate this village and occupy the entire land and here comes our hero who finds out the secret plans of the local minister and starts fighting with him. Now anyone can tell the rest of the story because this is such an age old story line that has come in different forms over the past 60 years!. Why take the same old stale storyline? ask the director.

It is the 50th movie for Vijay and it is a total disaster in his career. Why he keeps accepting the same repeated characters is beyond comprehension. Vaidvelu is the only saving grace in this movie and that too only in the first half of the movie. This movie is a total Vijay praise movie so there is no need for a heroine but just to add glamor Tamannah comes in with skimpy dress for some duets that is all.

Music is definitely a let down in the movie. Usually Vijay's movie has one song that praises him, but in the movie they have gone to the next extent which is even in the duet it is now a praise of Vijay. Your ears will bleed if you hear this repeated praise of Vijay. Director SP Rajkumar has failed to produce a convincing golden jublee movie and it is time to go back to the drawing board for Vijay.
