Rating: **** - Thillalangadi - super Killadi.

Director Jayam Raja is known for making very good remake movies and this one is no exception to that. He has made a very good remake of Telegu blockbuster Kick which inturn is inspired by the Hollywood hit 'Catch me if you can'. Director has meticulously copied every scene from the Telegu verson and earned himself the title of 'Best Remake Director'.

Krishna (Jayam Ravi) is a happy-go-lucky youngster, who often commits himself into risks as he feels the right Kick over it.He doesn't last for more than four days in any job. He just quits the job just for the thrill of it. During the course of the marriage of his friend, Krishna meets Nisha (Tamanna) and falls for her the second he sees her. He proposes to her and at the same tells her not to immediately agree to his proposal as it would rob him of the 'kick' of whether or not she agrees to his idea of marrying her.

Like in every Tamil movie, Nisha hates Krishna initially but eventually falls for his charm but only to realize that Krishna's character wont help in the long run and breaks up with him and leave to Malaysia with her family. Nisha's parents arrange her marriage with Krishna Kumar (Shaam), a tough and honest cop. Krishna uncovers that he has traveled all the way to Malaysia to trap a smart thief, who has been looting crores of money from leading tycoons and politicians.

The smart thief who is being chased by Krishna Kumar is none other than our hero. So the rest of movie is all about whether he is the real theif or Does he get caught by the police? Does he get Nisha or not? Watch the film to find answers. Prabhu and Suhasini have acted as Krishna's parents but they dont have a major role other than coming in few scenes and they both have done their role at ease. Radha Ravi has joined the comedian's club of Vaidvelu and Santhanam and the trio has done their best to make audience laugh and they have succeeded in their efforts.

The only drawback is that the director has copied the style of the Telegu actors and forced it into our Tamil actors. He should have left that part out and let them act their own way. Music is ok but given that it is being distributed by Sun Pictures, by putting advt every 15 mins, all songs will be a super hit. On the whole a total Family entertainer.
