Simbhu always tries something different and afer a huge success with Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya, he decided to select a super hit Telegu
movie 'Vedam' and remake it in Tamil. Director Krish who directed the Telegu movie has directed this movie and ths storyline invovles
5 different stories running in parallel and coming together at climax. Though the concept looks innovative, several problems plagued
this movie right from actors walking out of the set to reusing some portion from the Telegu movie dubbed in Tamil. Ok lets go to the
story
Cable Raja (Silambarasan) who is basically a guy from the slums in love with a super rich Pooja (Debutant Jasmin)
under the disguise that he is also a rich guy. There is Bharath (Bharath) a rock start, aspires to have his own
rock band and is on his way from Bengaluru to Chennai to have his first live performance and a silly mistake makes
him miss the flight and hence the show. The third story is that of Saranya who is a widower and belongs to a
poor family is in need of money to save her son from being employed due to their non-payment of dues.
The fourth story has Rahim (Prakash Raj) who comes from Tuticorin to Chennai in search of his brother who
disappeared three years ago. Finally it is the story of Saroja (Anushka) who is a prostitute by profession who
comes to Chennai to have her own company so that she can earn more money.

All these 5 stories come together during climax and how these disconnected stories come together and how the climax
ends has to be watched in the big screen. The climax does save the movie to some extent but it is too late as the audience
are so frustrated that they fail to appreciate. Also the Saroja's portion of the story is dubbed from the Telegu
version which very clearly misses the lip sync and clearly shows it is a Telegu version.
